Who We Are

letfred.ai is operated by Six Days West Ltd., a company registered in Ohio, USA. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or purchase Fred, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have regarding your data.

What Personal Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the product and communicate with you:

Email address. Collected when you sign up for product updates or complete a purchase. Used to deliver your purchase, send important product notices, and occasional product updates.
Purchase information. When you buy Fred, your payment is processed by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of your purchase (order ID and email address) to fulfil your order. We do not handle, process, or store your payment card details — those are managed entirely by our payment processor under their own privacy policy.
Licence activation. When you activate Fred, the installer sends your licence key and an anonymous machine-fingerprint hash to our licensing service (stored in Cloudflare’s key-value store) to enforce the activation limit. The fingerprint is a one-way hash — it contains no personal data and cannot identify you, your files, or your machine’s contents. This is a one-time check at activation, not ongoing monitoring.
Support communications. If you contact us for support, we may retain the content of your communications and any information you provide in order to respond to and resolve your enquiry.

We do not collect your name, phone number, postal address, or any other personal details unless you voluntarily provide them when contacting us.

What We Do Not Collect — Fred Runs on Your Machine

Fred runs locally on your hardware. Your files, agent memory, and credentials never leave your computer. When Fred makes AI model requests, those travel from your device directly to your chosen AI provider using your own API key — Six Days West does not sit between you and your AI provider and does not see the content of those requests.

Six Days West does not have access to your Fred usage data. We do not receive your conversations. We do not collect any telemetry, usage statistics, or behavioural data from the Software.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the personal information we collect only for the following purposes:

We will never sell your email address. We will never share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services We Use

Running letfred.ai and delivering Fred involves a small number of trusted third parties:

Payment Processor (Stripe) We use Stripe to process payments for purchases made via letfred.ai. Stripe collects and stores your payment card details under its own privacy policy; Six Days West Ltd. does not handle, process, or store your card details. Six Days West is the seller of record and is responsible for any applicable sales tax or VAT. We receive your email address and order confirmation to fulfil your purchase and deliver your licence. Brevo We use Brevo to send transactional and product update emails. Your email address is stored with Brevo solely for this purpose. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Cloudflare letfred.ai is hosted and served via Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes standard web request data (including IP addresses) as part of delivering and securing the website. This data is processed by Cloudflare under their privacy policy. We do not use Cloudflare Analytics or any Cloudflare advertising products.

We do not use any advertising networks, behavioural analytics platforms, or third-party tracking tools on letfred.ai.

Data Security

We take the security of your personal data seriously. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your email address and purchase records from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit and at rest, and access controls limiting data access to authorised Six Days West personnel only.

While we take these precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data, and you provide it at your own risk.

If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulatory authorities as required by law.

Data Retention

We retain your email address and purchase records for as long as you remain a customer and for as long as required by applicable law (for example, financial records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes).

If you request deletion of your personal data, we will remove your information from our systems and request deletion from Brevo, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records. We will confirm completion of your deletion request by email.

International Data Transfers

Six Days West Ltd. is based in Ohio, USA. Some of our third-party service providers — including Brevo and our payment processor — are based in or may process data in countries outside the United States.

Where we transfer personal data internationally, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Your Rights

Cookies

letfred.ai does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

Cloudflare may set functional cookies as part of its standard CDN and security operations (such as challenge cookies for bot protection). These cookies do not involve personal profiling and are strictly necessary for the secure delivery of the website.

Children's Privacy

Fred and letfred.ai are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@letfred.ai and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.

For material changes that may affect how we use your personal data, we will notify you by email where we hold your address, and provide reasonable notice before the changes take effect.

Continued use of letfred.ai or the Software after an updated Privacy Policy has been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
